County Roller Vixen's second bout of the season was the first showing of
the two league teams: |

The night started out
with some fantastic plays from both sides. Although these girls
are on the same league they are fierce competitors and they weren't
about to pull any punches. |

Jammers from both sides were ready to
rock, and they burned up the track as they rolled around, and sometimes
through, their opponents.

Every time the second
whistle blew the jammers went off like a bullet. Neither team was
about to let their girls be left behind. The opening seconds of
each jam was a raging battle to see who would get the coveted "Lead
Jammer" position. |

During the first period the Terrormedixxx players kept the penalty box
busy while the Death Rattle Rollers quickly jumped on the opportunity to
run the score up. At one point the Terrormedixxx were even facing
a 40 point deficit! |

The second period proved that it ain't
over till it's over! The Terrormedixxx closed the gap and as the
Death Rattle Rollers began to feel the heat they stepped up their game
as well. In the end, The Death Rattle Rollers maintained their
lead and pulled off the opening bout win with a close score of 125 -
117. There wasn't one person who attended that wasn't thrilled to
see these two teams bout and everyone is excited to see what's going to
happen in March! |
