The Slaughter County Roller Vixens are currently made up of 3 teams:
The Death Rattle Rollers can be recognized by their black uniforms and voodoo style. Usually found sporting their death rattles which are suspected to contain opponents teeth these girls are always looking for their next trophy. Although they are great skaters it's their proficiency at casting derby hexes such as the dreaded "Curse of the Fishnet Burn" that really sets them apart from other derby teams.
The Terrormedixxx are usually identified by their similarity to medical personnel in blue. However, upon closer inspection spectators will find that they actually resemble psychotic candy-stripers. Applying first-aid is the last thing on their minds as they terrorize the flat track administering their "medicine" to opponents they encounter. warning "medicine" may cause side effects such as falling down syndrome and broken face disease.
Of course there are times when the two league teams put their differences aside to kick ass outside of Kitsap County. When that is the case they send the All-Star team. The All-Stars are the finest in derby girl technology and they travel the countryside representing truth, justice, and a punch in the face.

The Slaughter County Roller Vixens call Kitsap County our home. ...So then why do we call ourselves the Slaughter County Roller Vixens?
|
In the late 1850's the area known today as Kitsap County was part of both King and Jefferson County. The area was rapidly growing as the hub of industrial activity due in no small part to its five lumber mills. Of King County’s 238 voters, 139 were living on the Kitsap Peninsula. |

A county seat was needed on the peninsula since that was where the majority of the population was located. So a new county was created called Slaughter, commemorating Lt. William Alloway Slaughter who had been killed in a Native American skirmish near Auburn. Slaughter County was born on January 16, 1857. |
Although the original county name was quickly changed the spirit of this tough soldier in the northwestern wilderness still lives on 250 years later in the hearts of the girls who gear up and do battle out on the flat track.
