| The Vixens hit the road Saturday to bring some derby love down to the fair city of Bend Oregon, home of the Lava City Roller Dolls. | ||

As well as being a great bout it also marked the maiden voyage of the league's new tour bus. Although the trail through the pass was a tough one the All-Stars managed to make it safely to the bout without having to resort to cannibalism or pumping their own gas. | |

| Once the girls arrived the fun soon began and the high octane derby began. The SCRV All-Stars were matched up against the Smokin' Ashes, Lava City's own Travel team. As soon as the whistle blew the audience knew it was in for some action. With some spectacular hits from both sides this bout was quickly shaping up to be one to remember. |

| As the second half went on the SCRV All-Stars proved that it ain't over till it's over! After making some fantastic jams and laying on some brutal hits our girls closed the gap in the score and let the fans in Bend know that Slaughter County is serious about their derby! Although the final score left us behind 97 - 89 everyone had a great time and the Lava City girls even posed for a picture with the Slaughter County gals! |
