| After being snowed out the first time the Vixens hit the road Sunday to bring some derby love down to the state capitol and the Oly Rollers team - the Cosa Nostra Donnas. | ||

The moment the first whistle blew the track was filled with hard hitting derby action. Both sides were determined to lay on the biggest hits possible. | |

| The venerable Cosa Nostra Donnas weren't about to give the Vixens any room though as they quickly ran the score up. The first half saw some heavy action and as the battered vixens skated off the floor the score was Cosa Nostra Donnas 77 to the Slaughter County all-Stars 10. |

With the famous Slaughter County determination the Vixens came back into the second half with some changes and were finally able to put some points up on the board themselves. The Cosa Nostra Donnas never let up though and continued to display their veteran skill on the track. | |

After another hard fought
half the Vixens still gave it their all. With the time winding
down in the bout though the Cosa Nostra Donnas had a commanding lead and
